On 9/28/2025, My mother was involved in a Hit and Run between 530pm-540ishpm. She was on her way home on her electric scooter when a speeding vehicle struck her0 after which the driver continued driving, leaving my mother in critical condition, and After arriving at the California hospital she passed away At 5:58pm. The coward that hit my mother couldn't even stop to call 911.

This news has been so hard on myself and our family.The emotional toll this has taken on my family has been an extremely difficult roller coaster, with having to make funeral arrangements all while being out of state and needing to bring her home. She was a FRIEND to so so many people who she laughed with and always made sure everyone was ok. she was always worried about others needs and always willing to help who ever needed help. She had the biggest and warmest heart. She leaves behind so many people who love her.

She leaves behind 8 grandkids and 1 newborn greatgrandbaby , also her mother her brothers and sisters.

Noone is ever prepared for the loss of a loved one, whether it be emotionally or financially.Unfortunately, my mom was not prepared financially for something like this to happen and neither were we. 

We are asking for any amount you can donate so that our mom's final goodbye can be one that brings peace, comfort, and some kind generosity, we can exceed the current goal so that additional support can be used for attorney fees and reward to help find the person responsible as well as financial support for myself to travel to bring my mother home. Anyone with information in the ongoing investigation of the hit and run that occurred between 5pm and 540ish pm near 54th st and broadway/main are encouraged to contact Los Angeles police department.
