Supporting Charnock & Clover Elementary Families
Protecting Our Kids’ Learning and Valuing Our Dedicated Staff
Dear Charnock Avenue Elementary and Clover Avenue Elementary families,
We are a group of concerned parents from both schools coming together anonymously because we care so much about our children’s education and the amazing teachers, aides, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, and administrators who show up for our kids every day.
Like many of you, we are watching the current LAUSD labor negotiations with growing worry. If an agreement is not reached, a multi-union work stoppage could begin as early as Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

This would likely close our school campuses and disrupt daily learning, meals, after-school programs, and the sense of routine and stability our children depend on.
At the same time, we strongly believe our hard-working school employees deserve fair compensation, better support, and improved working conditions. They pour their hearts into our kids’ growth and deserve to feel valued.
That’s why we created this fundraising campaign.
Our goals are straightforward and heartfelt:
- Provide supplemental learning resources, enrichment activities, and continuity support so our children’s education and daily lives are protected as much as possible.
- Show tangible appreciation for our teachers and staff by helping improve compensation and wellness support that helps keep excellent educators in our classrooms.
- Offer a little extra help to families if any disruptions occur next week or beyond.
Every single donation will go directly toward these student- and staff-focused efforts. Whether you can give $5, $10, $25, or more, your contribution sends a powerful message: Charnock and Clover community stands united for our kids and the caring adults who guide them.
We are stronger when we come together. Thank you for caring, for sharing this campaign with other parents and friends, and for helping us protect what matters most. Our children’s bright futures and the wonderful people who help shape them.
