I’ve been trying to stay strong through this journey, but the accident I was in has taken such a heavy toll. Living off my savings for this long without being released to return to work has been extremely difficult, especially being a single mother to four children and now with another surgery and more recovery time ahead, the stress has only grown.

I’m not someone who likes to ask for help, and I truly wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for me trying to help someone else the day this all happened. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t carry it all on my own.

The Story

I was a witness to a very bad accident. I was in my work truck in the left lane and an SUV was in the right lane. We were traveling and had a greenlight. A  tow truck driver failed to yield and turned left  in front of me and another driver. and I and I immediately pulled my emergency brake and came to a complete stop and the lady beside me T-boned him and went under his tow truck. I was in a state of shock and hurried up and jumped out of my truck ran over to make sure she was OK and I couldn’t open her door, so I ran around and opened her passenger door, When I opened up her door, her airbags deployed in my face hitting my face which comprised me being able to breathe. I sustained multiple injuries and had to be put on a ventilator for awhile. I had vocal cord and esophagus burns. I’ve underwent months and months of therapy, scopes and Botox injections to help heal everything. To this day,  I’m still not medically cleared to go back until I have my surgery on 11/11/25 which will also. Any monies raised will go towards bills to stay afloat while I’m recovering again from this next surgery.
