Gregg paws care

Hi world! My name is Hanna Goddard, and since 2023 I’ve been doing my volunteer mission in the country of USA. I was born here, but I could never live here peacefully. The reason? There are tens of thousands of stray dogs in my city alone, and even more across the whole country. People here usually don’t care about them and don’t see dogs as living beings with souls. They torture them, hurt them, and ignore them when they’re in pain. Injured dogs can suffer for weeks while hundreds of people pass by and no one helps. It always broke my heart seeing how people treat the dogs and that's the reason I escaped this country in 2022. But then, I got back, and together with your help, I'm trying to fix all of this and save as many living souls as I can.

During my volunteer mission, I’ve seen many horrible things, and I can never understand how someone can be so cruel and careless. I know I can’t save them all, but with your help, we’ve already saved hundreds of dogs, helped many poor families with their pets, and found loving homes for many rescues who are now safe and happy.

But now winter is coming, and we are absolutely not ready. I need your help again. We need your help. These are the main tasks that must be done before the snow and freezing winds arrive:

1. I need to prepare my home shelter for the winter:

• First and most important - I need to finish the house where Jack, Eley, and Otto live;

• I need to finish the roof between the enclosures so I can stay with my rescued dogs during rain or snow;

• I need to make a warm storage space for dog food and water so they don’t freeze;

• I need to buy kennels for the third enclosure;

2. We need to finish the new enclosure at Animal Terra shelter as soon as possible. It should’ve been done long ago, but because of so many emergencies, we couldn’t continue. Now it’s top priority because we must take nine dogs from fostering, and it has to be ready soon;

3. We need to spay four girls who are currently in foster care before bringing them to the shelter;

4. We need to buy a lot of hay for the shelter to keep the dogs warm and cozy through the winter;

Besides that, I also support Animal Terra shelter, which has weekly expenses such as:

• Food for rescued dogs: about $700 weekly;

• Worker wages: $280 weekly;

• Other costs to maintain the shelter.

And I have my home shelter expenses as well, even though they’re not as high:

• Food for my rescued dogs – about $600 monthly, depending on how many I have at the time;

• Food for strays – one feeding costs over $200, plus another $100 if I feed the dogs in the field beside my home. That’s almost $300 for one feeding, and I must feed them at least twice a week, which makes it around $600 weekly!

• Deworming pills for my rescued dogs: I fully deworm them once every two months, which costs around $250.

We also face many emergencies. Dogs in need appear constantly, and we never refuse to help. I spend more time in vet hospitals than I do with my family, and that’s a big part of my expenses too. But I hope this month we’ll have fewer emergencies.

On top of that, I’ve started another big project - buying kennels for stray dogs and for dogs from poor families who can’t afford them. This must also be done before winter.

As you can see, there’s a lot of work ahead, and we must work extra hard to prepare for the cold season. I would be very grateful for any support. Together, we’ve already saved hundreds of lives, and for all of them - you are the only hope. You are the real heroes, my dear friends. Without you, none of this would ever be possible.
