Hello to all,
In this difficult time, many of you have graciously reached out, offering support and assistance. We truly appreciate and are in gratitude for the overwhelming support. We do have an opportunity to have a burial at Riverside National Cemetery due to our Father who was an US Marine veteran who served 2 tours during the Vietnam War.
Laffit for those who don’t know him: He was the most loved person anyone could ever know, loved by many, especially those who knew him. Throughout his life, he dealt with major obstacles since he was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 15. He was very challenging to deal with due to dealing with the mental illness for the next 30 years. Despite dealing with this, he continued to support my 83-year-old mother and showed love to each one he encountered. It’s a sad moment for all of us since he passed away so young.
This fundraiser along with those who already provided compensation will go towards the expenses of moving him to the cemetery, embalming him, casket, permit for those attending, pastor on site? Etc). If you’re able to help in any way, it would mean so much to us. But please don’t feel any pressure—just knowing we’re in your thoughts is already a huge comfort and more prayers as they help.
Thank you so much for all your support through this tough time, and may God bless you all! Jeremiah 33:6: Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security. Amen
