For over 30 years, PAWS/LA has helped low-income seniors, military veterans and People Living with HIV or AIDS care for the service animals they love and need. At PAWS/LA we refer to the many scientific studies that have found pet ownership to confer measurable benefits on an individual's physical and mental health. Everybody should have access to the healing power of a pet, regardless of financial or physical hardship.

Our programs provide registered clients with free pet food, vouchers for veterinary procedures, and volunteer support in the case of physical disability. We also work with a network of care providers to negotiate large discounts on a variety of procedures.

Right now, we urgently need support to:
- Keep our pet food bank open and stocked
- Continue to provide vouchers for urgent vet care procedures.

Rising prices have made pet food and vet visits much more expensive with many of our clients are already struggling. Nobody should have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet, securing their own life saving medication, or life-saving medication for their service animal.

Your donation can make a big difference:
- $25 feeds one pet for a month
- $50 helps cover a standard vet appointment
- $100 restocks our pet food bank for two weeks.

โFor many of our clients, their pets are their only family. When you help an animal, you also help a person who loves them. Everyone wins.โ
Together, we can make sure every pet in Los Angeles stays fed, healthy, and home where they belong.
