Help Cynthia Terrell Fight Breast Cancer

My name is Cynthia Terrell, and I am in treatment for breast cancer. An abnormal mammogram in October led to more tests and a diagnosis. I am on chemotherapy now; after chemo, I will undergo ultrasound/mammogram re-evaluation, followed by radiation therapy. I am retired after years working in the Emergency Room as a medical assistant and unit clerk, and while I receive a monthly check, it does not cover all of the new costs that arrive with cancer.

This year brought challenges I never expected. My car was stolen, which has made transportation to treatment and imaging much harder and added unexpected expenses. There is no family history of cancer, and still I find myself balancing infusion days, side effects, and the stack of bills that keep growing—co-pays, prescriptions, imaging, and the upcoming radiation sessions.

I am asking for help to keep my care moving without delay. Your support will go toward chemotherapy and radiation co-pays, ultrasound/mammogram re-staging, prescription medications, and transportation costs now that I’m without a car. If generosity allows, remaining funds will help stabilize essential bills that have piled up during treatment.

Thank you for reading and for any gift or share. I spent my career helping others through hard days in the ER; now I am learning to accept help with gratitude. Your kindness keeps appointments on the calendar, medicines in hand, and hope in reach as I work toward recovery.
