I have an extensive history of resiliency and an even more interesting story of how Resilience became second nature. Ive managed to find a way thru most of my challenges and unfortunate circumstances on my own, until now. I am working towards my mission of advocating for individuals struggling to survive and access resources in order to break free from set back. I've unfortunately hit a wall of my own setbacks the year and currently have hit dead ends on the help I need right now. I was in an accident due to bad weather conditions in the vehicle I had only had since July. I had been without a vehicle before that for 14 months due to blown head gaskets on my 2004. Although mechanically inclined, I was on my own after escaping my 8 year abusive relationship and financially dead broke I couldnt afford to afford the costly repair. Having a vehicle is the one factor that determines wether I make or break it when hardship has hit, sleeping in my car if I had to in order to save money and my car being the tool I need most to find work. Relying on others or walking to work or staying with a friend near the place I bartended sometimes 13 hour shifts as the only bartender on the shift I saved money working as much as I could until the help I had unexpectedly passed away. I had no way to work, hadnt found anything decent i could pay cash for. I have a decent credit score, but couldnt finance due to paying off my debt years ago and no open revovlving credit since. GOD PULLED THRU..when I was blessed with a 2014 used but nice Chevy equinox, finally able get around, made the choice to take a better job and go where I could afford a home. I took that money and brought a camper that needed very little work, and back on track of my career goals that will stand behind my mission. I had got the job in the small town that is 10 minutes from the quiet rv park I had moved to was headed home during a heavy rain storm and a bad spot in the road in wet conditions sent my car into the overpass guardrail. I had basic insurance & had been shopping rates to upgrade, a day late and dollar short, back pain(no health insurance, and now stranded 10 minutes from each town nearby, getting a ride once a week from the rv park owner, Im super concerned. I NEED HELP. I have come this far and I am praying for a compassionate person for a hand to help me up at this time. I figured up the cost of parts to fix my car and hope I can get this done. I have a 2nd job thru contracting inspections that depends on me having a vehicle or losing the opportunity. I need a reliable vehicle or I could lose everything Ive come this far to be where I at.
