My name is Erika Velasco, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart during one of the most difficult times in my life. My beloved father passed away last week.

My father was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He always put his family first, taking care of us before himself, right up until he got sick. He was a happy man who loved helping everyone around him.

He found joy in simple things: listening to Mexican music, gardening and planting flowers at our house, and watching stories and movies about Mexican revolutionaries like Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata.

Now, we need your help to give him the respectful farewell he deserves and to support my mother as she faces life without him.

We are raising $12,000 to cover burial costs at ParkLawn Cemetery Inc. (an official quote of $7,144 is attached for transparency).

The remaining funds will go toward supporting my mother and helping our family manage basic living expenses during this difficult transition.
