William’s Story

My son William is 40 years old, a father of two little boys and they love him very much, and the light of so many lives. He’s fighting for his life right now after being diagnosed with advanced cancer. The past few months have been a blur of doctor visits, hospital stays, and endless worry — but through it all, William’s strength and determination have amazed me.

We’re pursuing treatment that gives him the best chance to survive and be here for his children, who love him more than anything. Unfortunately, this treatment isn’t covered by insurance, and the cost is overwhelming — about $45,000 out of pocket.

As his mother, I’ve done everything I can to keep things moving forward: refinancing my home, applying for loans, and chasing every possible grant or aid program. But we can’t do this alone. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving William more time — more memories, more birthdays, more life.
