I'm Daniel Benoit

It has been a year now since this medical crisis began and started my battle with astrocytoma g2 🧠. I'm currently going through treatment. I still am experiencing seizures and my job was a parcels delivery driver. So can't drive currently and my doctor advised me not to return to work. I Thought I would be able to return to work by now but my brain has decided otherwise. I am going on some targeted therapy that I hope will lead to seizure freedom sooner than later. This will also help prevent progression. I am still healing from surgery. I've had some cognitive ability deficits that are subsiding. I am enjoying this time with my daughter and my wife when we have time. I also am enjoying time playing music, watching hockey and skateboarding but for very tiny amounts of time due to risk and the physical/cognitive demands of it. This whole crisis has put huge amount of stress on us financially. I'm trying my best to navigate through social programs but they have been little or no help at all.
